Amirtsari Fish Pakora By Lucky Singh

Recipe To make Amritsari fish pakora, you'll need:


Ingredients:


1. 250g boneless fish fillets (cut into bite-sized pieces)

2. 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)

3. 2 tbsp rice flour

4. 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

5. 1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)

6. 1 tsp red chili powder

7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

8. 1 tsp garam masala

9. Salt to taste

10. Water (as needed)

11. Oil for deep frying

12. Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:


1. In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, ginger-garlic paste, carom seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.

2. Gradually add water to make a thick batter, ensuring there are no lumps.

3. Dip the fish pieces into the batter, coating them evenly.

4. Heat oil in a deep pan. Once hot, add the coated fish pieces one by one, and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.

5. Remove the fish pakoras with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite chutney.
