Super yummy curry you will do time and time again. Recipe for easy chicken curry, Bombay potato and rice.
Really quick and easy to do after preparing ie chopped the onions chilli tomato’s and chicken 15 minutes to cook
Ingredients
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
1 teaspoon garlic and ginger paste
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 chopped fresh chilli pepper
Method
Chicken curry fry of the onions in in a little oil about 2 tablespoons then add teaspoon garlic and ginger paste cook for couple minutes then add the chicken cook for a couple minutes then add the spices teaspoon coriander powder teaspoon chilli powder teaspoon cumin and teaspoon turmeric powder mix add the chopped chilli then chopped tomatoes add a little water mix and simmer for 10 minutes
Rice
For two people
One and a half cups rice washed
Add too the rice cooker
Then add a pinch salt and pepper too taste
Half teaspoon garlic powder
Half teaspoon onion powder then and 300ml of cold water mix together cook the rice towards the end of cooking add some frozen peas and some precooked mushrooms
Bombay potatoes
2 Very Large Waxy Potatoes
( Cyprus or Harmony Recommended)
1.5 Tsp Cumin Seeds
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Yellow Mustard Seeds
0.5 Tsp Black Mustard Seeds
0.5 Fennel Seeds
1 Tsp Mild Madras Curry Powder
0.5 Tsp Coriander Powder
Large Pinch Curry Leaves
1 Tsp Salt
0.5 Tsp Sugar
2 Large Cloves Garlic Finely sliced
1 Tbsp Tomato Puree (mixed withe water)
(Some water on the side just in case of burning)
method
chop the potato's into pieces and boil for 10 mins
add fry lite to hot wok then add
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Yellow Mustard Seeds
0.5 Tsp Black Mustard Seeds
0.5 Fennel Seeds
1.5 Tsp Cumin Seeds then when the seeds start popping
add the rest of the ingredients and cook for a further 10 mins add add the potato's toss the potatos in the sauces add cook for anther 15 mins Finish with
