Lamb Keema with Chickpeas
Ingredients
1/2 cup of cooking oil vegetable
2 bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
3/4 cloves
2 medium onions
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2.5 tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsp garam Masala
2 tbsp cumin powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2 medium sized tomatoes chopped and 2 tbsp tomato purée
500 g lamb mince
1 can chick pea cans
200/ 300 ml water
3/5 bullet chillies sliced for garnish
Fresh coriander for garnish

Method
1. Heat the oil.
2. Add the whole spices let sizzle 30 seconds.
3. Add the onions diced.
4. Let brown 10 minutes.
5. Add the ginger garlic cook 1 minute.
6. Add the ground spices and mix well on low heat.
7. Add the tomatoes.
8. Add the tomato purée.
9. Cook 5 to 10 minutes.
10. Add the mince mix well cook 10 minutes on moderate heat.
11. Add the chick peas and mix.
12. Add the water let simmer 10/15 on moderate heat until oil rises.
13. Sprinkle pinch garam Masala if desired
Garnish with sliced bullet chillies and fresh coriander
