Prawn And Potato Curry By Abdul Sadek

Prawn & potato curry


500g king prawns

1 diced tomato

1 large cubed potato


Whole spices:

3 Kashmiri chillies

4 cardamom pods

1 bay leaf


1tbsp garlic ginger paste

1 large sliced onion


1tsp each chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin, garam masala



Method:


Heat some oil

Add the whole spices & chillies

Add the garlic ginger paste and cook out

Add the onions and brown for 20 mins

Add the tomatoes

Add all the powdered spices with a splash of water and cook until oil splits.

Add the potatoes. Top up with water and cook through.

Add the prawns cook until pink

Add salt

Garnish with fresh coriander
